XHSB505A cable identifier adopts variable frequency pulse power supply and uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to accurately identify cables that are unlive or in operation. There are two functions for measuring voltage, current and frequency, and there are two output methods: direct connection method and coupling method.
Identification of non-powered cable: The transmitter's chief role is the generation of a special pulse signal. This signal is connected to the cable to be identified through a connecting line. Following the principle of electromagnetic induction, an induction signal that matches the characteristics of the transmitted signal will be generated along the cable. At the test site, a highly sensitive receiving clamp and a handheld receiver are employed to detect all the cables on site. According to the indication of the handheld receiver, the cable that has been injected with the signal (that is, the non - powered cable to be identified) can be accurately located.
For powered cable identification: The transmitter mainly generates a special pulse signal. This signal is introduced into a point of the powered cable to be identified via a special transmitting clamp. The principle of electromagnetic induction dictates that an induction signal, which is consistent with the law of the transmitted signal, will be generated along the cable. At the test site, a highly sensitive receiving clamp and a handheld receiver are used to detect all cables. The cable to which the signal is added (namely, the powered cable that needs to be identified) can be accurately found based on the indication of the handheld receiver.
